Team Voters of Miami was formed by an Afro-American in 2002 out of frustration with a system of government
that's proven unjust and selective in their services. For dessert, double standard treatment is served to its citizens - to the disenfranchised citizens of Miami-Dade County, whose government abuses authority.
This, coupled with the lack of accountability was the fundamental principle for the creation of The Team Voters of Miami.
We're teaming up to highlight government abuse, wasteful spending and misappropriation of public and federal funds.
The people who these funds were allocated to, continue to sleep in the streets, homeless and jobless, while crime rates are skyrocketing into the heavens. This is creating stressful conditions for the already overworked and underpaid police force.
Mr. Keith Wilson, a retired Miami Police Officer is now a licensed home improvement contractor. He was never given the same opportunity that was given to Mr. Ocsar Riviera or Mr. Raul Masvidal. They were given a multi million dollar affordable housing development contract by the Miami-Dade Housing Authority. See "The House of Lies" in the Miami Herald.
Throughout the years Mr. Wilson, as a law enforcement officer, witnessed horrible crimes, such as killings, shootings and murders.
He witnessed deplorable living conditions, homelessness and citizens of Miami-Dade walking the street barefoot and partiallly clothed, hungry and panhandling.
Yet while some ethnic groups remain disenfranchised, "out of the economy loops a valley of dry bones" (Bible), but our government remains unresponsive.
Low income public housing is a breeding ground for illegal activities - the answer from our government: "Build more jails, license more funeral homes, hire more police...but by no means allow economic strength to happen, by no means allow anyone out of the targeted disenfranchised areas of Miami-County to gain equal economic status."
"They must not experience life as we have, for if they knew what we know, our future is in jeopardy."
Miami, Florida, Dade County is the Sunshine Capital of America, but despite the bright sunshine of the Florida sun, our elected government officials still manage to hide.
Hide from the community issues and yet quickly seek re-election votes from the very same people they managed to hide from during their term as elected officials (Hide and seek officials).
As we stand before our government with several petitions and grievances, we ask
"Dear God. Open the hearts and minds of our elected government and allow your will to be done on earth as it is done in Heaven".
Thus: Team Voters of Miami was born.

Racism has no place in government!
On May 23, 2007 at 10:30 AM Miami-Dade Building Code Compliance Office, Construction Trade Qualifying Board- (board member), Milton Thompson, crossed the line of ethics and moral turpitude.
He called an Afro-American Contractor appearing before the board, to answer charges against his company; a B....S.....(translated meaning Black Shit)
The contractor immediately (in awe) paused from presenting his defense case, and asked the board member:
“What do you mean by that Sir? B.S.”
On two occasions, the question was asked by the contractor; and on both occasions, the board member remained silent.
In my racially inspired neck of the woods (in America) B.S. means “Black Shit”
Mr. Thompson, clearly a man of deep southern ties
could apparently no longer camouflage his historical biases before a board he sits on -
it must have been too much for a man of Mr. Thompson’s background to stomach....

In many years as a Miami-Dade County citizen, I’ve never seen such a horrific display of Klansman type behavior coming from a member of our government.
We, the people of Miami-Dade County, Florida, collectively and individually,
issue Team Metro a
"Cease and Desist Order"
Team Metro Administrators through and by its agents have trespassed upon the sanctity of our homes and businesses.
"Cease and Desist"
Team Metro has enforced rules and ordinances against low income property homeowners to generate monetary gain for the agency.

Team Metro has issued thousands of citations to alleged code violations and citations against an already oppressed minority community.

Team Metro used code violations as a tool to attack outspoken political leaders and concerned citizens who contest government intrusion.

While millions of taxpayers' dollars are being given away to bogus developers by Miami-Dade County Housing Authority, Team Metro issues code violation tickets to our senior citizens.
While the youth of our community goes to jail for drugs and other misconduct activities.
Team Metro walks in the backyards of our already oppressed communities and issues code violation tickets to our senior citizens.
A multi-million dollar developer takes our community and re-develops it into a Habitat for Humanity...(sounds like a Tiki Hunt for monkeys)

Team Metro duplicates services provided by other well established government departments like Solid Waste, the Building Department and the Miami-Dade Unsafe Structure Board.
Team Metro's actions against the people of Miami-Dade County is comparable to the once-feared street gang called "John Doe"
Team Metro uses fear and threats to exploit the people.

The people of Miami-Dade County should not have to live their lives in fear of its government.
A government agency who uses thug-like tactics against tax payers are nothing more than
Government Thugs.
